6 years ago I fell in love with my first Rabbit and his name was Hopper. I followed my mums rule about new pets and bought a book first so I knew how to look after the animal correctly. In the first few days I realised the book wasn't good enough and started my journey into Rabbit knowledge. The first thing I noticed was my rabbit was happy when I was home as he had the full run of the flat but looked miserable in his hutch when I left. I looked into housing first and stumbled onto a rabbit forum. The knowledge their was huge and I found out how much miss information their was out their for these amazing creatures.
When I knew I was going to start a Blog I decided to put all the information I had aquired into one place.

35,000 Rabbits are abandoned a year and they are usually given up after 3 months. Rabbits are also the most abused of the pets. 1/2 live in filthy conditions, 40% don't have food, 70% never leave their hutch and thats not including random acts of violence like ear removal and being set on fire which are done by sick individuals who were having fun. Rabbits are also the 3rd most popular pet, they are generally considered a child's pet which they are not. Rabbits are vulnerable animals who are prone to illness, they are expensive to treat as they are classed as exotic, most people aren't aware you can get insurance for them.
I will break down their care into sections and try to give you as much info as possible starting with outside housing
